July 28, 2008
To the Soderborg family: I came to know Alex and his twin, Brian over the past several years as photographers for my boys' sports. I expected to see them a week ago and joke around with them as usual. They reminded me of my younger brother in his younger days. I asked a lady, "Hey, where's the guys?" She said, "What guys?" I said, "You know the twins!" She then told me about the tragic accident and I was both shocked and extremely saddened.
I then went back the next night when I saw Brian and asked if I could speak with him privately to give him my condolences. He smiled with that familiar smile they both had and thanked me. They looked so much alike, I could never tell them apart. To me they were always a package deal. You did well. They both are kind, caring and have the biggest smiles and an awesome sense of humor. I told my boys about the accident on the way home and my son said, "Oh yeah, I remember him. He and his brother always said, "Girls are icky!" My sons are 20, 13, 9 and 4. Thanks for the memories!
I am truly sorry for your loss! May God comfort you.

Pat and I met Alex and the family at Britt and Cody's Wedding. That was a beautiful day. Alex had a beautiful reunion with family that pased before him the day he left this life.Alex seemed happy and go lucky but quieter than his twin Brian.

I had a spiritual experience once before the death of my ex 2nd husband. I saw him when I was walking with Saria and her brother Evan and I said hi as he passed us, but when he ignored us I yelled after him you idot or something like that. Right after I said it a voice in my head chastised me telling me why did you do that; what if you never see him again. When we got home I called his place and his mom answered. He wouldn't talk to me, but I explained what happened to his mom and asked if she would please tell him I was sorry and didn't mean what I had said. She said she would. I never did see him again alive. He was killed about 1 1/2 month later. So don't ever say unkind words to each other without saying your sorry. His death was hard for all especially Saria and her brother Brendin. You never know when the Lord will call you home but because of the plan when one is called home we can take sollace in that they are really home and awaiting the return of the rest of thier family and friends.I know right now is a sad time because you miss him. I believe his twin Brian will probably feel it most because twins seem to feel everything the other twin goes through. The whole family is at a loss right now. We feel blest that we got to meet him and the rest of his family. I know my neice Britt married into a kind and loving family. I'm proud of her for the dirrection in life she took. I feel for her loss as well. She gained a brother and lost him in less than 2 months after joining the Soderborg Family.
May God Bless and keep you and the family at this time of loss of a very dear loved one. It's ashame Alex's life was cut short, but I'm sure the Lord had more need for him in the plan than we will ever know in this life. Our sincer thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I just recently got to know Alex over the phone while working with him through spectrum. He loved to talk about his niece and how he loved to tease his sister about letting her touch the dirt and driving his sister crazy. He had quite the sense of humor and was a pleasure to work with. We are very sorry for your loss and will keep you in our prayers.

	Lee and Karen:

Our family was devastated to hear about Alex. Your family has always been a wonderful example of love and unity. Know that we, like so many others, love you and our prayers are with you.
